EVERY MILE MUST BE VERIFIED

OFFICIAL CHALLENGE RULES

Please read the regulations carefully. Disqualification is absolute if any safety, pacing, or verification rules are violated during the attempt.

CRITICAL WARNING

IRON MILES IS AN ENDURANCE CHALLENGE — NOT A SPEED CHALLENGE.

We verify average and instantaneous speeds across checkpoints. Any evidence of reckless riding, speed violation, or ignoring traffic laws results in immediate disqualification. Safe, consistent, and disciplined pacing is the path to earning your Iron.

1. RIDER & MOTORCYCLE ELIGIBILITY

  • Riders must hold a valid driver's license for a motorcycle with gear in India.
  • The motorcycle must be fully street-legal, registered, insured, and display valid registration plates.
  • Any motorcycle displacement is eligible, provided the machine is in roadworthy condition and can safely maintain highway speeds.
  • Riders must be at least 18 years of age at the time of the attempt.

2. MANDATORY SAFETY GEAR

The rider must wear the following protective gear at all times during the attempt:

  • A full-face ISI, DOT, ECE, or Snell-certified motorcycle helmet.
  • Motorcycle jacket with back, shoulder, and elbow armour.
  • Motorcycle riding pants with knee protectors, or heavy riding jeans with strap-on guards.
  • Motorcycle gloves with knuckle protection.
  • High ankle boots or protective riding shoes.
  • High-visibility reflective vest or gear detailing, especially during night-time hours.

3. VERIFICATION & EVIDENCE CHECK

To successfully verify your ride, you must supply the following within 72 hours of attempt completion:

  • GPS Track Log: A public, shared link to your GPX/log track (via Strava, Garmin, MapMyRide, MyRide, etc.) proving route line, total distance, and times.
  • Checkpoint Receipts: Electronic or printed printed fuel/checkpoint receipts at start, corner turn checkpoints, and end locations. Receipts must show machine date, timestamp, and machine location matching your logs.
  • Odometer Photos: Clear photos of your motorcycle's dashboard/odometer showing mileage at start and end checkpoints, alongside the start/end receipts.

4. ROUTE & TIMING REGULATIONS

  • The attempt starts the moment your first fuel receipt is timestamped.
  • The attempt ends when your final fuel/odometer receipt is timestamped.
  • Total duration (including all rest stops, fueling, breakdowns, and delays) must not exceed 12 hours for Iron 800 or 24 hours for Iron 1600.
